“The Intern” Review
Just got finished watching the new flick starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, The Intern. I believe any one who is starving to see a fresh and entertaining movies rather than the action and horror flicks being released should definitely take time out and watch it. The movie along with its unique story has also sort of a motivational aspect to it while watching the two characters indulge in their routine life for both young and old. You never get old unless you think so yourself. The director Nancy Meyers has done a wonderful job in transforming our beloved action star into a 9 to 5 kind of person with his attire rightly picked and his approach towards the dialogues reflects why De Niro is being loved by millions. Its rare for such actors to adjust to these roles when they change the whole approach to their character and many have failed even biggest names in the industry have fallen prey to what they have been famous for and when something comes up where they need to be shown of their own age they fail to get adjusted.
The whole plot of the movie is such to make you think of what you are doing to your life and what can be done to make it more useful. It is not just the work that you do; there are people who are important than your goals and sacrifices require intelligence. You get old when you think you are and just the age factor can never stop you from restarting and adjusting to a new environment. One needs to put the fear behind and step forward rather than rotting in an easy chair for the rest of the days.
I would strongly recommend the movie as it is refreshing, funny and has a good plot. I took away a feeling from the movie which rarely happens these days when you finish a movie with that satisfaction of your money and the time you took out. Worth it!
